Shortly after moving from the city, Paola and Carlo developed their farming activities around the ideals of philosopher R.Steiner, gradually adapting the estate fields and plantation to form a healthy, living, agricultural organism. Il Cerreto includes 300 hectares of land cultivated according to Biodynamic standards and two finest buildings housing accommodations: 5 rooms, 2 suites and 7 apartments, as well as a natural swimming pool, an organic produce shop and a vegetarian restaurant, rounding up the organic experience. Prices start from 110 euro per night.
FOOD PHILOSOPHY ~ This organic farm allows you to rediscover the origin of a kind of cuisine made with ingredients grown onsite. Il Cerreto includes 500 hectares of forest, vegetable fields, grains, legumes, orchards and olive trees to support the full biodiversity of the grounds. This leads to a model of 100% organic food revived by the traditional flavours. “Trust us, as we trust our land”. Il Cerreto‘s produce is a gift coming from an unpolluted pristine land, cherished and protected by that very same land as well as by the capable hands of the staff.
