How does the service work?

 

“Download MyJourney”

Be MyJourney will allow you to download and/or receive the Journey you planned on Be MyJourney’s website so that you can share it with your travel buddies.

In such a case, Be MyJourney will not act as an intermediary on bookings. You will be independent on this regard.

“Ask Andrea”

Acting as travel intermediary, Be MyJourney Limited (“Be MyJourney”) will propose you a journey planning on the basis of your requests and/or set up criteria, also contacting properties and travel service providers involved on the basis of your requests. 

Be MyJourney will contact you to check the dates of your trip and then contact each travel service provider to check the availability of the services and dates requested. If the services enquired are available on the specified dates, Be MyJourney, in its capacity as an intermediary will pass your contact details to the travel service providers. The travel service providers, acting as principal in the booking, will then contact you to confirm the booking, take payment and ultimately enter into a contract with you, the customer. 

In case you ask Be MyJourney to support you with the planning, Be MyJourney will also provide you with a digital guide to make easily accessible and sensational your Journey. The guide will be provided to you within a week from the departure date. 

What happens if the dates you requested via the “Ask Andrea” option are not available?

If the requested dates are not available, this will be communicated to you and Be MyJourney will liaise to source alternative dates or accommodations. 

Does Be MyJourney retain or process payments?

Be MyJourney does not act as a booking platform or travel agent. Thus, any payment will be directly managed by the service providers. 

Does these Terms and Conditions also regulate service providers’ services?

It will be the travel service providers own Terms and Conditions that govern the actual booking and the  contract will be between them and you. For any kind of enquiries or issues related to the services of the providers, please make reference to their Terms and Conditions. 

 

Liability 

Be MyJourney will not be liable for any kind of issue, cost, expense, loss, damage related to the use of services of the providers. The confirmation and payment and any further operation not directly managed by Be MyJourney will be governed under the relevant service provider’s Terms and Conditions. 

Be MyJourney will not be liable in the event of personal accidents and/or in the event that the conditions of the hotels and/or their sustainability policy and/or their cancellation policy are different from those described.

 

Insurance

Since Be MyJourney acts as a mere intermediary and does not warrant any cover, we do recommend you to take out a travel insurance, in order to avoid any issue.
